What it does

The Summarizer bot automatically summarizes news articles written in Spanish or English using a custom algorithm to rank words and sentences.

When to use it
  • When you need to quickly understand the content of a long news article without reading the entire piece
  • When you want to automate the summarization of news articles for your team or organization
  • When you need to analyze large volumes of news articles and identify key points or trends
Ready-to-paste prompt
Submit a news article link to the Reddit community where the bot is active, such as `https://www.example.com/news-article`, and the bot will automatically summarize the article in a comment
Heads up: You need to have a Reddit API account and obtain an API key to use the Summarizer bot, which requires creating a Reddit app and configuring the API credentials in the `config.py` file
