What it does

HomeMaster lets you run fully local smart‑home automations on ESP32 boards (MiniPLC, MicroPLC) and expose them to Home Assistant without any cloud services.

When to use it

•You want a DIY, cloud‑free alternative to commercial smart‑home hubs.
•You need custom I/O (relays, sensors, UART) that Home Assistant’s stock integrations don’t support.
•You prefer flashing and managing firmware yourself rather than using a proprietary app.

Heads up: The firmware expects the ESP32 to be programmed with the ESP‑Home custom component version ≥2023.8; using an older ESPHome will cause a “Component not found: homemaster” error. Update ESPHome before flashing.
