blender-mcp-bridge

Automate Blender 3D modeling with AI via MCP — 93 tools for modeling, sculpting, architecture/MEP, materials, and 3D-print prep. Includes Blender Studio: a visual record/replay session editor with a multi-provider AI assistant (Claude, Gemini, OpenRouter) — drive it from n8n, Claude Code, or standalone.

What it does

Adds a programmable AI layer (MCP) to Blender so you can script 3‑D modeling, sculpting, or material creation with Claude, Gemini or OpenRouter via simple text prompts.

When to use it
  • •You need to generate dozens of product‑visual models (e.g., a line of kitchen appliances) without hand‑modeling each one.
  • •Your design team wants to prototype architectural interiors quickly by describing rooms, furniture, or MEP elements in plain English.
  • •You must batch‑prepare 3‑D‑print‑ready STL files from AI‑generated concepts for rapid prototyping.
Ready-to-paste prompt
In Blender Studio’s prompt box, paste:
```
Create a parametric coffee table 0.9 m tall, with a hexagonal top, brushed aluminum legs, and a matching steel‑grain texture. Export the final model as an STL to /tmp/coffee_table.stl.
```
Heads up: The bridge runs inside Blender’s own Python interpreter, so you must install the package using the same Python version that ships with your Blender install (usually Python 3.10). If you use a system‑wide pip, the module won’t be found inside Blender.
