What you’ll need

  • A free n8n account (cloud or self-hosted)
  • A Gmail account (or swap in Outlook/IMAP)
  • A Google account (for Sheets)
  • An OpenAI API key (any OpenAI-compatible key works)

Common questions

Does it reply or delete anything?

No — it only classifies and logs, and drafts suggested replies for you to review. Nothing is sent or deleted automatically.

Does it work with Outlook?

The template uses Gmail, but you can swap the trigger and log steps for Outlook or IMAP — the AI classification stays the same.
